Earnings in lakhs on the second Monday
‘Bad News’, directed by Anand Tiwari, has been successful in winning the hearts of the audience. It earned well for 10 days. But on the 11th day, the film has disappointed. According to the report of Saccanilk, on Monday, 29 July, the film has earned Rs 72 lakh (₹ 0.72 crore) till 9 pm. However, these are initial figures. Changes are possible in them. The final figures will be released after 10 pm. The total collection of the film in 11 days has reached Rs 52.72 crore.
The road ahead is difficult for ‘Bad News’
The road ahead is not going to be easy for Bad News. Because last week, Hollywood film ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ and South superstar Dhanush’s film ‘Ryan’ have hit the theatres. Both these films, released on 26 July, are earning a lot at the box office. On Monday, ‘Ryan’ has collected more than Rs 3 crore. Whereas Bad News has earned only in lakhs.
‘Bad News’ is the biggest opener of Vicky’s career
Apart from Vicky Kaushal and Tripti Dimri, Amy Virk is also a part of this film. Fans have liked this trio a lot. Apart from them, Neha Dhupia and Sheeba Chaddha are also seen in this film. It is worth noting that ‘Bad News’ was released on 19 July. It collected Rs 8.3 crore on the opening day. With this, ‘Bad News’ became the biggest opener film of Vicky’s career. Earlier this record was registered in the name of Vicky’s 2019 blockbuster film ‘Uri The Surgical Strike’.
